The solution for computer problems?
Go for a drive.
.
On a fine Spring morning, fresh air can only help.
Did it matter if I’d lost my email contacts and all the other information attached?

.

It would certainly be inconvenient, but in the absence of lorazepam, my brain seems less inclined to negative thinking.
They don’t warn you of such effects when they encourage you to try anti-anxiety medication and perhaps not everyone has the same experience, but it has assuredly been mine.
Avoid the stuff.
.
Still muttering as we headed out, I decided to jettison the grumbles.
Why drag a bad mood around?

.

Heading for the car wash in Schuylerville, we took an indirect route with an additional twirly to avoid traffic (allowing a car to follow us).
This often has good results.
.
We went up route 22.
Yes, we have an airport.
Of sorts.

.

Only to come back down…
The new solar farm is not a thing of great beauty but it is better than depleting our resources. and dirtying the atmosphere.

.

Lake Lauderdale looking quite different without ice.
.
We turned off here to head for Schuylerville…

.

These woods are so pretty in early Spring.
.
Re-awakening.

.

Coming past the pond…
.
…hesitating to get a different view is when that other vehicle dared to come along behind us.
So we shot off at a tangent which brought us to…

.

…the osprey nest.
And the birds are back!
.
Possibly sitting on eggs?

.

It seemed to regard me suspiciously, though we were not close enough to disturb the bird.
As a result of the twirly, we went back down route 22, passing the other osprey nest which was also occupied.
Which is very good news.
.
Then we were going around for the second time, past the golf club which always seems to me a little out of place.
Farming and golf?

.

What do I know?
But I don’t remember ever seeing anyone there.
.
Like all those car and machinery dealerships with their huge inventories.
Are they just tax write-offs?

.

One thing is certain, that’s not something I need to worry about.
.
I used to – not worry, exactly, but fret about all those cars and tractors or earth-movers, and how they were out in the elements…
Such a waste, but not my concern.

.

As you can see, we lost the “traffic!”
There’s a word that brings up a memory.
For another time.
Great to see the Ospreys are back. This might answer your question about all the unsold cars seen at dealerships. https://www.jdpower.com/cars/shopping-guides/what-happens-to-new-cars-that-dont-sell Best wishes, Pete.
Seems I am back to the bad days of my comments not appearing. You might find one in Spam or Trash.
Aha! There it is!
Amazing Osprey pics
Thank you, Carolyn, for the wonderful post! Your photographic talent takes my breath away; the photos of Osprey! You are so lucky to live in such a beautiful place!

Anti anxiety meds are like wrapping your head in a quilt and walking in mud. I made it about week on them 15 years ago. Smoke pot, eat gummies, do yoga. Email contacts and that – back them up occasionally. You’ll thank yourself. Don’t ask how I learned that.
What a lovely Spring drive! And how much different nature looks now than it did a few months ago – you’re privileged to see the trees change in appearance during the different seasons. Beautiful photos of the osprey (who apparently felt like posing for you) 😉.
Nice drive. Everything will be green pretty soon 🌳☀️
Wow, I’ve never seen an Osprey in the flesh. You live in a gorgeous part of the world, Carolyn.
