they are having quite the conversation! Although it must have been hard to hear them over the sound of the water.

I saw a pigeon having a shower today. It was raining heavily and he sat on the fence, lifting alternate wings and preening. He was there for a couple of minutes!
Now, isn’t that just so lovely. Two birds having a conversation on the weir – I wonder what this was all about? I’ve actually been waiting for your commentary …
When I still lived in London, I used to see Cormorants fishing from places close to Tower Bridge. It was a sign that the river was much cleaner than it had been during my childhood. You captured them well in that burst of photos, Carolyn.
