Gremlins. I believe they follow a schedule.
“It’s May…time to visit C Smith.”
They mess with every single thing I touch and when I seek help online they steer me to annoying and inadequate sites that really get my hackles up.
.
Then they summon up other irritations, just to put the icing on…
Grant is outside removing invasive growth that has to be kept at bay. I am grateful, but when is someone going to invent a weed whacker or any other gardening tool that is silent?
Happily, I would settle for not ear-splitting!

.

My nifty Dyson hand-held vacuum gave me trouble some weeks back but I outsmarted it.
Laughing, the gremlins caused another part to fail. I might be able to fix it…if I could undo just a couple of screws, but a special tool is needed for that.
A replacement part is available, but I just know if I sent for it, something else would go wrong.
.
One thing at least I could get rid of was “Grammarly”. How it inveigled its way into my PC in the first place I don’t know, but finally I got around to purging it.
Spell check is one thing, but if I ever have to rely on AI to compose a sentence or a paragraph, then it will be time to sign off for good.
My eclectic grammar is part of me, like my nose!

.

“Are you having a moment?”
Oh no. I think I just need a day off!
Don’t we all, sometimes?
Hang on, I’m retired…
.
….meanwhile, other problems were being pondered…
.
“Should I eat that dandelion?”

.

“Oooh! It tickle my ‘froat!”
.
This is the one we think is a female.

.

One of the “boys” has that same pale nose stripe.
.
But the other one doesn’t.
So I thought we should call them:
Rosie, Nosey and Dozey.

.

Guess what groundhogs like better than carrot.
Cauliflower.
Bits of vegetable we don’t cook get offered to wildlife, but till recently we put them under the trees.
Why not add them to the groundhog’s menu?
.
Oh, was it a hit.
This snack quite took Mama’s mind off her pesky kids.
We are obviously going to be eating a lot of cauliflower this summer.

.

.

“We like this one missus!”
Obviously I’m soft when it comes to animals, but how can you not take pictures of these irresistible creatures?
The problem is deciding which ones to post because everything they do is so cute!
They take my mind off the evil gremlins.
I’m surprised that raw cauliflower doesn’t give them bellyache. Great to see them munching it though!
Best wishes, Pete.
I’m with the groundhogs – I love raw cauliflower!
Yes, Carolyn, they are cute and adorable! Good that you thought they might like more than just carrots! Gremlins terrorize me too, and that includes my laptop and my Dyson. When I phoned Dyson’s help number, a chap in the US couldn’t help as he didn’t know the model I had.
Never mind, I clean the floors by hand!

To come up with names for the animals in your garden … it’s fun, I do that too! Ha, I think Berto now wishes we had groundhogs who could enjoy our cauliflower (he’s not a fan, but I love it and make it at least once a week). Now … what do gremlins like (that will make them disappear)!
