Freezing mist on Boxing Day last year created a rare and breath-taking spectacle.

How fortunate that we chanced to venture out that day and to take this route since the mist was not widespread.
If we’d delayed our trip only slightly, we would have missed these brief, astonishing moments because with daylight the temperature soon rose, dispelling the magic.

Like the Fall of ’22, it was such a gift.

Special moments like this are beyond value.
