It’s been some time since we’ve had a really impressive sunrise though I was fascinated by the orange orb in this one on February 7th.

Clear blue skies are always welcome after prolonged grey periods, but I must say I do actually prefer a little bit of cloud.
Which I think you’ve noticed.

A little Moon too.
This was February 6th.
I liked that the shaded portion was just visible.

Our days are already so much longer.
This was just after 7pm on the 6th.
Next month, of course, they will mess with our clocks again.
Does anyone think it’s a good idea?

Dawn on the 9th was soft and pretty.

It turned grey

With afternoon improvements.

Leading to a fine evening.

Yesterday was in and out despite predictions of rain.
It arrived finally in late afternoon.

This menacing and darkening sky brought a heavy downpour which lasted but a few minutes.

Then took itself back off again.
As if in a huff.
.
Coming upon my older camera recently, I charged it put it to use.
But when re-programming it, I entered pm instead of am (or vice versa).
To further confuse things, I downloaded it the following day.
Meanwhile images from the iPhone go into a whole separate file.
But I think I got the dates right here.

I don’t suppose it matters. The above was 1620 on 7th February.

the moon one! Without fail, I watch every Full Moon here, and feel something magical about the place, and wish I could look at the Earth from there.

What does time matter…really, which is why it is so silly to change the clocks twice a year!
It took me a long time to ‘discover’ that clouds in the sky make a sunrise and sunset appear more beautiful – yours are lovely. Fortunately, we don’t have clocks shifting forward and backward during seasonal changes – that would totally confuse me!
I have never set date/time on cameras. Now I am much older, maybe I should? Or I might completely forget when I took the photo. Then again, uploading to Flickr saves the date, and all the exposure details too. Perhaps I will just stick with that, as none of the photos used on my blog from Flickr count in my space allowance.
I wish they would abandon the time changes too. It was light until 5:15 pm here tonight, now it’s completely dark 20 minutes later.
