“Did someone call a meeting?”

“Yeah, but it’s over here!”

.

“Come on! Let’s get on with it!”

“Alright, keep your feathers on!”

.

“Order! This meeting shall come to order!”

“Order? What’s order?”

.

“It means shut up and listen!

.

“Well!”

“There’s no need to be rude about it!”

“Mum! A nasty bird was mean to me!”

.

“Oh dear. Sensitive girl-birds.”

“The rest of you, listen up!”

.

“We are commandeering this vessel!”

“I think you lost your audience.”

.

“That leaves me then!”

“I’ll just sit and have a think.”

.

“You can talk to me if you like.”

“I’m Master Sparrow.”

“Leaving so soon?”

“Alone again!”

.

“Did we miss the meeting?”

“Maybe we should start again.”

.

.

“Walk this way.”

.

“No. fool!”

“I meant come with me!”

.

“This year’s lot was born without brains!”

.

“As I was saying…”

“We are commandeering this vessel!”

.

“No you’re not!!”

.

“What, who just spoke?”

.

“Little old Me!”

.

“Ha! OH ha ha ha!”

“Burp. Nut went down the wrong way.”

.

.

“All yours, Little Red.”

“I’ll take my babes elsewhere.”

.

.

.

“Good heavens, Zoomer!”

“Whatever has happened to good manners?”

.

“I dunno, but I’m off down my hole.”

“‘Bye!”

  1. It looks like a wild meeting … birds on one side, a groundhog in the middle and a hurrying squirrel in the background (and maybe another squirrel in the front – Zoomer?). This is a great photo Carolyn – all the animals in one shot! I don’t think there were actually any decisions made at this meeting – they ran out of a quorum 😉.

  2. We have many ‘baby birds’ around at the moment. It is always fun to see the parents feeding them, and also showing them how to rake over leaves to find insects.
    Best wishes, Pete.
