An unpleasant dream helped me out of bed early today but it was a picturesque, misty morning so I didn’t mind and captured a selection of nice images before coming back in for breakfast.
Said images, however, vanished.
.
Looking at the pictures I downloaded just now, I realised that a whole lot of others taken while we were out also vanished.
Hardly the end of the world, but it was such a pretty morning with good light.

.
Then it came to me what had happened. I’d clicked the shutter release in error and erased that image, but apparently I’d confirmed “Erase all images”. Curses.
The dream that woke me fretting felt like a message from the Universe. Perhaps the erased photos was another:
“Give it up, Smith!
.

All in all, it has been a bad morning, the visit to pain management having left me feeling irritated, to say the least.
If medical appointments offer more in the way of annoyance than help, it’s time to bail out, which I was inclined to do after my last visit, but the doctor who treated me is wonderful, so I held out hope, but I cannot work with an assistant who has a bad attitude.
Back to square one.
.
The Universe has spoken.
.
Jiminy Cricket came to wave his antennae at me.
“Cheer up, missus. Tomorrow’s another day.”
So said Scarlett O’Hara.

Something we have all done at one time, selected ‘Format’ or ‘Erase All’ and then wondered what our brains were doing. The cricket photos survived though, and were very good too.
Best wishes, Pete.
“Never stop trying.
Never stop believing.
Never give up.
Your day will come.”
Wrote Stephen Hawking, and this is a message from the universe, Carolyn. Everything will be fine, and as you quoted, tomorrow is another day.

There are so many wispy images in the clouds that a few lost pictures matter not at all!
Indeed, yesterday is gone and tomorrow is a new day … I completely agree with Mr. Cricket! At least you took beautiful pictures of him – that’s probably why he gave you such good advice.
