.

Last night the Moon was hiding.
.
But I got it the night before.
In all the years I’ve admired it, it hasn’t changed, but I still feel compelled to photograph it.

.

Often when I go outside first thing in the morning, there are deer about and I try not to disturb them.
So before I venture from behind the house, I try to remember to stick my head around the corner.
.
There were no deer this morning, but someone else was waiting by the front door.

.

His Nibbs was hoping for a bit of breakfast.
He devoured two servings.
We don’t see the lad much these days, so we think he’s had his wandering privileges cut.
He now sports a collar.
But he’s not looking as thin as he did.
.
As is our want, we set off in plenty of time for my 0845 appointment in Clifton Park.

.

Which was just as well.
Though the tire got changed in about 5 minutes flat.
.
Apart from a leaky tire, we encountered no problems and my injected knees were back home by 10 o’clock.
At that point I was drooping rather badly.
My head feels as if it’s been used as a football.

.

And they tell me it will be worse days 5-7.
That will be a thrill!
Never mind. It will pass. But I’ll abandon this for the time being and wrap my head in a cold towel!
And have a lie down.
Wish I could send you my moon photos!
You could email them? yetismith@comcast.net. I would love to see them.
Feel better
Sounds like a good plan!
I’m wondering now, have His Nibbs and Little Man met yet? I’m glad to see that His Nibbs is doing well (the little bugger – I missed him). Oh, and it’s great to see that a flat tire was replaced in record time! Yes, I would suggest that it is best to close your eyes and lie down until you feel better again!!
My theory is that Little Man met Nibbs on the road and the Nibbs urged him to try his luck with us!
Now that’s a good theory … one that even I can believe!
Love the first image and the moon shot is great!
