If ever I grow tired of the sky, I think I shall be done.

From minute to minute and even by changing perspective
like someone viewing a masterpiece in a museum
Isolated pockets of light also catch the eye
There’s what I call “afternoon delight”
Momentary rays of sun lighting up trees and flags
A late-day high-five?
Well, not quite
Just 14 hours later
Which lasted mere moments
followed by
A forest fire?
Then it all petered out, but not for long.
